English as a Second Language

In this program SHC students teach English to immigrants and refugees from all over the world:  Turkey, Mexico, Central America, Asia and many others. No foreign language skills needed. One of the most important services you can offer.

Times of Service: Monday and Thursday evenings 7pm- 9pm

For community members who are interested in learning or improving their English speaking skills, we have rolling registration so you are welcome to begin anytime. We also offer free childcare, and tutoring for the citizenship test.

Program Costs: Registration is $5     Textbook is $25
